How turnaround works
We know waiting for your film is the hard bit. Here’s exactly how our turnaround works, when it starts and what the estimate on our website means.

Counted from the working day after your film is booked into the lab.
When does the clock actually start?
The most important thing to remember is that delivery and booking in are two different stages.
It’s a live estimate, not a new deadline
Our Colour and Black & White turnaround is a live rolling estimate based on how long recent orders are taking to complete. That means the number on the website can move up or down after your film has been booked in.
This does not reset your turnaround. The estimate in your Order Received email reflects the turnaround when we booked your film in. A later change on the website simply reflects the lab’s current overall pace.
What counts as a working day?
If your film is booked in on a Wednesday, this is how we count it.
UK bank holidays are treated the same way as weekends and are not counted as working days.
When should I get in touch?
If your order is still within the turnaround stated when it was booked in, you don’t need to do anything. It is still in our workflow and we’ll send your scans as soon as they’re ready.
If your order has gone beyond the end of that turnaround range, get in touch and we’ll happily check it for you.
