Noritsu or Flextight?
Both are excellent scanners, but they’re made for slightly different jobs.
Full rolls
Noritsu HS 1800
Our everyday workhorse. Ideal for full rolls and strips of film, with great colour, detail and fast scanning across 35mm and medium format.
Individual frames
Imacon Flextight
For individual frames where you want to pull out as much detail as possible. Best suited to favourite images, exhibition work and high resolution reproduction.

A few useful things to know.
These cover the questions we’re most often asked before an existing negative, slide or print reaches us.
Can you scan film that has already been developed?
Yes. Negative Scanning is designed specifically for film that has already been processed.
Do I need to know what scanner I want?
No. For most full rolls and strips, our standard negative scanning service is the right place to start. Flextight scanning is intended for individual frames where maximum detail is the priority.
Can I bring my originals into the lab?
Yes. You can bring negatives, slides and prints into the Leeds lab during our public opening hours.
Can you scan photographs if I no longer have the negatives?
Yes. Our Print Scanning service is made for exactly that.
