Need your film processed fast? With our Rush Service, any order that is booked in by us is processed the very same day, so you get your scans and results without the wait.
Please note:
You’ll receive your order the same day only once you’ve had an "Order Received" email from us. This means we’ve opened your parcel and it’s now in the queue for developing.A delivery confirmation from Royal Mail does not mean we’ve received or opened your parcel, it just means it’s arrived in our mailbag and is waiting to be processed.

We develop all kinds of film including colour negative (C41), slide film (E6), ECN-2 and black & white film. Whether it’s 35mm, 120 medium format, we’ve got you covered.
-
Our standard turnaround is typically 3-4 working days but this can change during our busier periods ie summer. We also offer a rush developing on selected services. Check here for details.
-
After placing your order, simply package up your film/s in a secure padded envelope along with your name and order number.
You can simply write your order on a piece of paper and include it in your parcel.
From there you can either post us your films, or drop them through our letterbox at:
Take It Easy Film Lab
Aire Street Workshops
30-34 Aire Street

Absolutely! We always return your negatives along with your scanned digital files unless you opt out of receiving your negatives at checkout.
-
Our lab is open Tuesday to Friday 10.30am until 5pm, but our letterbox is open 24/7 meaning you can order online and drop off film anytime that is convenient for you.

Being aware of how we removed of our chemical lab waste was high on the plan when opening Take It Easy Lab. Our chemical waste is collected in the lab by using a Metafix filtration system, which filters the chemicals meaning the waste is safe to be poured down a drain. The silver is also recovered via the system which then goes on to be used in silver jewellery / cutlery etc!
-
Let’s really hope this never happens! But in the unfortunate case that it does, don’t worry, we’d never make you pay full price for this. We will happily refund the cost of the service, minus developing.

If we receive a parcel with film(s) in it and it doesn't have an order number with it, we won't know who it belongs to. We always post images of the parcel and film on our Instagram stories in the hope that the owner of said order sees this and can notify us of the order number.
Unfortunately if the order doesn't have an order number there is very little we can do, so if you think you've forgotten to include one when sending us film, please email us at hello@takeiteasylab.com with a full description of the package and film that was included. -
Once your files are delivered via Dropbox, we keep your files stored online for three months.
After three months these files are deleted, so make you sure move all folders out of our dropbox onto your own HD or storage!
We store physical orders / negatives at the lab for one month. These orders can be collected during weekdays while we are open. After one month these physical items will be destroyed in a GDPR compliant manner. -
Yes we can. We can push your colour and black and white film up to 2 stops for no extra cost.
For black and white pushed film, this is done externally and will extend the turnaround time by a week or so. -
In the Leeds lab we develop your Colour films using a Noritsu V50. For our black and white developing we use a Noritsu QSF 430L.
We scan your 35mm films using either our Aura35 or one of our four Noritsu HS-1800 scanners. 120 Film is scanned on the Noritsu HS-1800. -
We have free shipping for all orders over £75 to the UK.
