Our lab is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. You can drop your orders through our letterbox 24/7 though.
Always! Unless you don't want them, just let us know and we can get rid of them for you. We have an option at checkout for you to let us know that you don't need them back.
After placing your order, simply package up your film/s in a secure padded envelope along with your name and order number.
You can simply write your order on a piece of paper and include it in your parcel.
From there you can either post us your films, or drop them through our letterbox at:

We do! We can print your photos in both gloss and lustre effect from 6x4" all the way up to 12x18", perfect for sticking to your walls or archiving in a photo album. Check it out here
We also do bespoke hand printing at our Nottingham lab which can be found here.
Yes we can. We can push your colour and black and white film up to 2 stops. For colour films being pushed, these are done at the end of the day due to us having to change settings on the developer, so there may be an additional short delay. No extra cost though.
Our turnaround is usually within 4 working days of receipt of your order, for E6/ECN-2 orders this can be 1-2 weeks. Up-to-date turnaround times can be found in the page header or on our Instagram.
Once we have processed your order, we use the email address you supplied with us on your order form to send the files via Dropbox. Make sure you check your spam folder too!
At checkout you have the option to receive your negatives back via post or you can collect them from our lab.
We aim to post back your negatives, prints, or merch as soon as possible. Mail usually arrives within two to three days of receiving your dispatch email, depending on the shipping option chosen at checkout. If your order includes merch as well as film developing, this will be sent out with your negatives.
We have free shipping for all orders over £40 to the UK.
In the Leeds lab we develop your films using a Noritsu V50.
We scan your films using our three top spec Noritsu HS-1800 scanners.
In the Nottingham lab we develop colour using a Wainco dip and dunk processor and black and white using deep tanks. Scans are done using the Fuji Lanovia.
Let’s really hope this never happens! But in the unfortunate case that it does, don’t worry, we’d never make you pay full price for this. We will happily refund the cost of developing if the order was for a colour film.
As our black and whites are developed by a third party by hand, unfortunately we can’t refund blank black and white films.

These orders can be collected during weekdays while we are open. After three months these physical items will be destroyed in a GDPR compliant manner.
We hope this will never happen but in the event that you're dissatisfied with the service you receive from us please get in touch and we'll do everything we can to resolve your issue.
Being aware of how we removed of our chemical lab waste was high on the plan when opening Take It Easy Lab. Our chemical waste is collected in the lab by using a Metafix filtration system, which filters the chemicals meaning the waste is safe to be poured down a drain. The silver is also recovered via the system which then goes on to be used in silver jewellery / cutlery etc!
If we receive a parcel with film(s) in it and it doesn't have an order number with it, we won't know who it belongs to. We always post images of the parcel and film on our Instagram stories in the hope that the owner of said order sees this and can notify us of the order number. Unfortunately if the order doesn't have an order number there is very little we can do, so if you think you've forgotten to include one when sending us film, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with a full description of the package and film that was included.
