Photo prints ready to be scanned at Take It Easy Lab

Choose your scan

600dpi or 1200dpi?

Both give you a high quality digital copy. The right choice mainly depends on the size of the original and what you want to do with the file afterwards.

01 Popular

600dpi

Great for most prints

A strong everyday choice for digitising photo prints, sharing them online, making new copies and keeping a good quality digital archive.

02

1200dpi

More room to work

A higher resolution option for smaller originals, detailed artwork or images you may want to crop, enlarge or edit more heavily.

What can we scan?

More than just old photos.

If it's a flat physical image and no larger than A4, there's a good chance we can scan it.

Photo prints

Family photos, old lab prints and favourite pictures where the original negatives are no longer available.

Polaroids

One off instant photographs you want safely digitised, shared or turned into a fresh print.

Instax

Small instant prints that you'd like as digital files without relying on a phone photo of the original.

Original artwork

Flat original artwork up to A4 that you'd like digitised for archiving, sharing or reproduction.

Want a new copy too?

Scan it. Then print it again.

You can add a fresh photographic print at the same time as your scan. Choose the print size, Gloss or Lustre finish and any other available options above.

The price shown above is per original scanned. Any reprint options are added through the product choices before checkout.

How it works

Three simple steps.

Choose what you need above, send us the originals and we'll take care of the rest.

01

Choose your options

Choose 600dpi or 1200dpi, set the quantity to the number of originals and add any reprints you want.

02

Send or bring them in

Post the originals to us or bring them into the lab, with your name and order number included.

03

Get your digital copies

We'll scan each original and send the finished digital files to the email address used at checkout.

Before you send

Keep the originals safe.

Include your name and order number inside the parcel.

Keep photographs and artwork flat and protected from bending while they're in the post.

Avoid taping, stapling or sticking originals together.

If several items look very similar, label or number them clearly if their order matters to you.
