Earlier this month we hosted our third photo social here at the Leeds lab. These free events see us come together with our friends at Make it Easy, to create a social that supports the photography community in Leeds.
Open to all photographers; beginners or professional, film or digital. The aim is to allow people to share their work and meet other photographers.
Our May social focused on the idea of image sequencing. We encouraged everyone to bring a selection of small prints with them to figure out how they might work together in a sequence.
This exercise is a great way to work out how and why we're making pictures and can be applied to any project, from holiday pictures to major long form projects. Its especially useful when thinking about putting your pictures into a book, exhibition, portfolio or website.
Thanks to everyone who came along!
