Leeds Photo Social - April 4th

About this experience

We're very excited to announce that we are finally running a Photo Social with our friends Make It Easy at our lab in Leeds on Tuesday the 4th of April from 6pm-8pm.

The social is totally free and open to all photographers; beginners or professional, film or digital. The aim is to support and build the photo community and allow people to share their work and meet other photographers.

There are 3 very simple rules…

Bring Prints

If you would like to show some work it has to be in print form, no screens or tablets etc.

Small 5x7 prints, digital prints or hand made prints are all fine. It doesn't have to be a finished project. The idea is that we share our work to get input and support from others.

Don't worry if you don't have work to show, we only really have time to look at 4 people's work in a session. We encourage people to turn up whether they have work to show or not as you can get just as much looking at the work of others as you can from showing your own.

No Gear Chat

This might be a tough one for some of you! We try to keep gear chat to a minimum unless it's totally necessary. We want to focus on the pictures you're making, not the size of your lens.

Be Kind

This isn't a place for harsh critique (although we can provide that in a 1-2-1 if you wish), this is a place where we support one another and encourage your practice in a constructive and kind way.
